CLODOS Technology completes the first stage of the Ziguinchor humanitarian aid program in Senegal, bringing drinking water to rural communities.
CLODOS Technology and Servicios Técnicos de Canarias, with local support from Aldeas Infantiles, have successfully completed the first stage of the Ziguinchor Program in Senegal, a humanitarian aid project aimed at guaranteeing access to drinking water in a region with a special impact on inequality called Kandialang.
In this area, where scarce resources limit access to basic services, women were traveling several kilometers daily to provide water for their families, negatively impacting the quality of life of the community.
With a total investment of 60,000 euros, both companies have financed the construction of five drinking water wells, transforming the reality of thousands of people by providing a safe and accessible source of water and contributing to the well-being, equity and development of the region.
A commitment to health and wellness
The Ziguinchor Program responds to the mission of CLODOS Technology s mission to generate a positive impact at a global level. The implementation of this project not only allows the continuous supply of drinking water, but also contributes to the reduction of diseases related to the consumption of contaminated water.
"Water is a fundamental right and we believe that, as a company, we have a responsibility to provide real solutions to those who need it most. With this initiative, we take a step forward in our social commitment and continue to advance in our goal of contributing to a healthier world", highlighted the representatives of CLODOS Technology.
